Looking for a solid investment these days? Invest in your family, with time away! Yes, it’s difficult to get away, but doing so creates some of the best, strongest memories we have. Maranatha’s Family Weeks give your family great opportunities to experience excellent teaching and worship as well as fun and exciting activities. In addition to our many regular activities, we’ll be celebrating both weeks with an interactive puppet show and fireworks! Maranatha is located near 4 museums including historic Strawberry Banke & Prescott Park Gardens in Portsmouth &the WWII Wright Museum in Wolfeboro.
These weeks are open to everyone. Live alone? Join us. Dads living at home must attend the entire program. Single Dads or Moms are most welcome. Don’t forget to invite grandparents.
All roads lead to a delightful relaxing family vacation week at Maranatha. Leave daily pressures & stress at home and focus on fun and spiritual growth with your family. Children enjoy having Dad uninterrupted and Moms rejoice in all those good meals they didn’t have to prepare. Teens flourish in this environment.
Our program is designed to free up your vacation days to be spent with your family, actually doing your favorite activities.
Our relaxed morning schedule includes an 8:00-8:30 hearty breakfast followed by a practical Bible study. You’ll find these studies which include a Q&A time especially helpful. Note; we provide baby care during these sessions.
Afternoons are free for family times together. You may rest, visit with another family, swim, go fishing, canoeing, kayaking or rowing, playing octaball or visit the animal barn. You can even try out one of our pedal cars. Nearby are two mountains to hike, a large fish hatchery and a cedar forest. Some of New Hampshire’s inviting vacation activities are within a half hour. Lake Winnipesaukee is just ten minutes away. We’ll pack you a lunch if you will be away.
Our evening Bible study immediately follows supper to make an early evening for your children. This gives teens and adults time to enjoy other activities. Other evening activities are a dress-up dinner, a music program and a talent(and untalent!) show.
WI-FI is available, but we encourage limited use so you can focus on your family.
We offer full hook-ups for your RV, pop-up or tent in a beautiful wooded area. Sites include 50amp service, water & sewer.
HIS CLUB - for 3-8 year olds
We know if your children are happy and well taken care of, then you’ll be happy! Younger children, 3-9 years old leave here with glowing reports of how they enjoyed their “His Club” meetings. These are offered during the a.m. & p.m. Bible studies. We’ll do our best to help you care for those under age 3. His Club is an option. Famlies wishing to keep their children with them are welcome.
We ask that each guest dress modestly.
“Growing Closer Together” is our theme for these vacation opportunities. You can invest your family vacation time in making happy memories while learning to make your family even more successful. Each family will have its own table for the week in our dining room. Come and leave the cooking and dishes behind and enjoy being served. Register now for a vacation with a purpose!
These weeks are family-centered and open to families and their immediate relatives.
Everyone will work on scripture memorization at their own pace. We’ll also have an emphasis on family devotions.
In addition to cabins, we have a number of motel style rooms sleeping 6-8 people.
Here’s a vacation where you can do as little or as much as you want at Maranatha! Our daily schedule is structured just enough, but not too much. Enjoy a good book, explore the pond by canoe or rowboat, climb a mountain, swim or relax in the warm sun while the children swim at Miracle Pond.
All meals and snacks are included. We serve a wide variety of foods to meet all tastes at three buffets a day. Lunch and supper always include a healthful salad bar. Weather permitting, we enjoy one or two meals a day eaten outdoors.
Young people will learn right alongside their parents during these practical sessions. We encourage all to take notes and ask questions.
“We’ll never miss another year of family camp.”
“I love this safe learning environment.”
“Now I don’t want to go anywhere else for vacation because I wouldn’t feel like I’d had a vacation!”
